At College Church, we believe in nurturing children’s faith in Jesus through engaging and age-appropriate experiences. Led by Jon Nelson and Melodie Williams, our Kids Ministry staff is committed to creating a safe and Christ-centered environment for kids of all ages.

Why College Church Kids Ministry?

At College Church, we believe you are the primary spiritual influence in your child’s life. Our Kids ministries exist to partner with you by reinforcing at church what you are building at home. Whether your child is in the nursery, early childhood, or elementary ministry, our goal is that together – through Sunday mornings, events, and intentional discipleship – we help them encounter faith building foundations at every stage.

What We Offer

Nursery

Babies to 2 Year Olds

Our nurturing classrooms for infants through two-year-olds are nestled in a secure hallway just inside the Vanderpool Entrance. Our littlest church members, from newborns to one-year-olds, receive attentive care from certified, background-checked volunteers in a safe and soothing environment. Meanwhile, our energetic two-year-olds engage in playtime activities and age-appropriate crafts, all under careful supervision.

3-5 Year Olds

3 to 5 Year Olds

Join us on the first floor of the Cunningham Family Life Center as we learn about how we are all a part of God’s story through: Wee Worship, small groups, prayer, and interactive centers. Small Groups: 9:00 A.M. | Wee Worship: 10:30 A.M.

1st to 5th Graders

Experience worship, messages, and group discussions tailored to make faith applicable to a kids’ daily life. We meet on the second floor of the Cunningham Family Life Center. Small Groups: 9:00 A.M. | Worship: 10:30 A.M. Quest for 5th graders meets every Sunday night from 5:30–7:00P.M.!

Frequently Asked Questions

We believe it’s never too early for children to begin to experience the love of Jesus and all He has to offer. It’s our mission to lead even our youngest generation into a growing relationship with Jesus through Biblical storytelling, worship, and, of course, fun! We utilize games, small groups, live teaching, video recaps, object lessons, and activities to share His word. We aim to build a Biblical foundation your child can build upon for the rest of their lives.

Upon arriving at the age-appropriate check-in, a team member will ask for your basic information–name, phone number, address, allergies, etc. At this time, your child will be given a nametag with a unique letter/number combination. As the adult checks them in, they will be given a sticker with the same unique letter/number combination.

When you are ready to pick your child up, head to the check-in desk and a team member will direct you to the classroom where your child can be picked up.

Safety is our top priority. Each team member is background-checked, and we utilize secure areas and unique ID systems to ensure a safe environment.

No, however, they can if they desire. We offer engaging activities for both services!
